In the winery: After fermentation, the wine was pressed to new French oak barriques for the next 16 months.
In the glass: Deep red.
On the nose: Quite ripe, powerful aromas of blackcurrant with hints of mint and vanillin oak.
On the palate: Big, rich and full-bodied with layers of cassis and mulberry, generous tannin support and lashings of quality oak.
