Forest Hill, a family-owned winery, consistently produces quality gems like this single site Chardonnay. Pristine fruit was picked and whole bunch pressed for gentle extraction with juice transferred into Burgundian oak barrels and temperature controlled, ensuring a slow fermentation. The lees were stirred once a week, striking a balance between the oak, lees and fruit.
The resulting wine is bright straw in the glass with a brilliant green tint. It allures with a beautiful mix of pineapple, melon, nectarine and fine smoky oak aromas.
