Forest Hill Vineyard Estate Gewürztraminer 2014

Forest Hill is Western Australia’s oldest cool-climate vineyard, established at Mt Barker in 1965. They take great pride in the elegance of their cool climate wines, including this perfumed Gewürztraminer.
 
In the winery: The pressed juice was
cold settled and then transferred to 50% French oak barrels and 50% stainless steel.
In the glass: Very pale straw green.
On the nose: Exotic, hedonistic perfume of Turkish Delight, rosewater and yellow florals.
On the palate: Huge flavours with powerful juicy richness and almost viscous texture. Shows fine depth and clean yet soft balance. A very appealing young-drinker.
