Great Southern produces benchmark cool climate wines, with Riesling, Shiraz and Cabernet most well-known, but they also make excellent Merlot as this wine demonstrates.
Deep red purple. Blackcurrant, plum, bay leaf, olive and tobacco. Intensely deep and flavoursome, showing black fruit saturation throughout with delicious tapenade and cigar box complexity, impressive tannin richness and a persistent finish.
