Due to its altitude, Strathbogie is a cool climate inland region, perfect for growing the later ripening Cabernet, and this Gold medal winner is a very stylish example.
Medium to deep red. Bay leaf, blackcurrant, plum and mocha aromas. Medium-weight and elegant, with a savoury mix of red and black fruit, touches of crushed dried herb and milk chocolate, fine tannins and background oak. Drinking well.
