Roussanne is a lovely alternative to Chardonnay, with the added bonus of excellent ageability, as this delicious South Australian example shows.
Pale gold. Subtle aromas of peach, hazelnut and dried thyme. Medium-bodied and very expressive, with a deep mix of grapefruit, orange rind and marzipan, some chalky textural elements, and a flavoursome finish. Still fresh and bright.
