Glenhope Cabernet Sauvignon 2008

Former drummer turned winemaker James Campkin has captured the essence of Victorian winemaking in this sweet and rich Cabernet Sauvignon from the Macedon Ranges.
 
Deep, inky red in the glass with lifted dark fruits, blueberry and aged oak on the nose. The sweet palate is rich and ripe with concentrated fruit flavours and hints of crushed violets. Savoury notes add complexity with faint leaf and mint characteristics, plus background spice.
