Harewood Estate Cabernet Merlot 2015

James Kellie cut his winemaking teeth at Howard Park before his family purchased this boutique operation in Denmark, where he now crafts an exciting range of premium wines.
 
In the glass: Medium to full red.
On the nose: Currant and plum with a cedar lift. On the palate: Dense and ripe with a powerful core of black fruit, firm tannins and well judged savoury oak. A full-bodied wine with touches of espresso and anise and a long purple fruit finish.
