First Cut refers to the winemaking process in which the softer free-run juice is separated from the second cut or pressings, which creates a fresh wine with great drinkability.
Inky dark red. Concentrated aromas of plum, amaro, liquorice and pot pourri. Super-ripe with lashings of black fruit flavours, underpinned by touches of white pepper, tapenade and anise, deep tannins and cedar oak lingering on the finish.
