Widely grown throughout Italy but especially prominent in Piedmont, Barbera is quickly becoming established in Australian vineyards, and this is a great example of its potential.
Deep, dark red. Smoked meat, cola and fresh tar. Dense and concentrated, dry and savoury, very youthful and restrained, with strong herbal undertones, smokey oak and a tight, peppery finish.
