Margaret River Shiraz may not always enjoy the reputation of the region's Cabernet and Chardonnay, however superb wines like this one from Howard Park make you wonder why.
Deep, dark red. Blackberry, plum, pepper, espresso and toasty oak. Full-bodied yet elegant and well-balanced, with a ripe black fruit core, some secondary notes of leather and mocha, well-integrated spicy oak, and a long, ferrous tannin finish. Classy.
