Hungerford Hill Verdelho 2016

Tasting Panellist Nicole Gow spent time with Adrian on this wine, so she was almost as delighted as him when he won the Verdelho Trophy at the 2016 Hunter Valley Wine Show.
 
In the glass: Bright pale lemon.
On the nose: Fresh tropical yellow fruits with a hint of gingery spice.
On the palate: Fine and fresh with good depth of ripe pear and melon fruits, a subtle layer of nutty spice, citrussy acidity and a persistent finish.
