Coonawarra is renowned for producing reds that have the ability to age with grace, as this excellent example of Shiraz, that's drinking close to its peak shows.
Deep red with a faint brick hue. Plum, mulberry, bay leaf, eucalyptus, menthol and cedar oak aromas. Palate flows on from the nose with very fine, dusty tannins, ageing notes of leather and tobacco, and well-integrated oak on the dry finish.
