Padthaway was originally planted with a large proportion of Chardonnay. Today reds are more prominent, but the region still has the ability to make excellent Chardonnay.
Bright mid yellow. Lemon, white peach, nougat and vanilla. Supple and fleshy stonefruit and melon with fresh vanillin oak and hints of marzipan and hazelnut. Clean and dry yet with good power, complexity and development potential.
