K1 by Geoff Hardy Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

Winemaker Geoff Hardy consistently captures the beautiful flavours of the Adelaide Hills region, and this massive cool climate Cabernet Sauvignon is no exception.
 
It was matured for 20 months in 80% French and 20% American oak, 40% new and 60% aged between two and five years.
 
A powder keg of immensely rich cassis, black pepper and licorice aromas introduces a concentrated yet fresh palate that’s intensely regional and varietal, showcasing a massive core of delicious black fruits with blackberry and licorice throughout and superb tannin depth and harmony. Will only improve over the next 5-8 years.
