K1 by Geoff Hardy Middle Hill Shiraz 2013

The 2013 Middle Hill Shiraz by Geoff Hardy was sourced from the middle hill of the K1 vineyard, a picturesque sandstone ridge producing elegant, spicy, cool climate style Shiraz.
 
In the glass: Deep, dark red.
On the nose: Fresh spicy lift over red and
black fruits, hints of eath and leather.
On the palate: Medium bodied yet intense and spicy with a good mix of primary fruit and subtle secondary development delivering five spice and earthy notes throughout.
