Winner of two Trophies at the 2018 Great Australian Shiraz Challenge, this is a classic Barossa Valley expression with power and intensity yet it remains refined.
In the winery: Made with fruit sourced from two vineyards; the Marananga block provides intense, old vine, blue fruit offerings, and the Nuriootpa block provides rich black fruits.
In the glass: Deep red purple.
On the nose: Brooding plum, black cherry, mulberry and black pepper.
On the palate: Concentrated and powerful yet retaining a touch of elegance with a fine tannin foundation driving the bright core of dark fruit. Shows attractive savoury spice throughout and a long, generous finish. Recommend decanting before serving.
