Keith Tulloch is a fourth-generation winemaker who started his own label in 1997. The epogée in the name – also spelt apogée, refers to the highest point, climax or culmination.
In the glass: Bright medium lemon.
On the nose: Struck match, sea spray, fig, grapefruit, peach, honeysuckle and almond.
On the palate: Ripe and flavoursome with a creamy texture and mouth-watering acidity, floral and grilled nut notes, gentle complexity and an almost salty finish.
