Saperavi, a Georgian variety, translates to 'ink' or 'dye', being one of the few grape varieties that have bright red flesh, which creates deep, full-bodied wines.
Inky opaque purple-black colour. Intense leafy blackcurrant, wild florals and smoky spice aromas. Rose petal and violets alongside the fresh core of dark fruit, with lifted varietal acidity, and a powerful tannin finish.
