Although Coonawarra is justifiably famous for its Cabernet, some amazing Merlot is produced there too, as this delicious drop shows. An excellent example of the variety.
Deep ruby. Expressive aromas of bay leaf, thyme, blackcurrant, mulberry and dark chocolate. Full-bodied yet elegant, with savoury tannins framing the deep core of fruit, notes of charcuterie and mocha, toasty oak, and a deeply-flavoured finish.
