In good vintages, the Pinot G from the Hunter Valley matches it with the best in Australia, and Leogate's latest is a beauty, and an excellent food wine.
Very pale straw in appearance. Pear, white melon and brioche aromas. Well-balanced, with layers of nashi and lemon, underlying saline notes, and a hint of musk on the long, savoury finish.
