One for the traditional Chardonnay lover, this 2010 vintage has beautiful oak integration. It’s another fine wine from Leogate Estate, a Hunter favourite named after the large lion-adorned iron gates that guard their Pokolbin vineyards.
This Reserve Chardonnay appeals with a nose of ripe yet pristine stone fruit over quality, subtle oak. The palate is layered and rich with a toasty core of peach, melon, fig and preserved lemon bound by bright citrussy acidity and classy, well-judged oak. A beautiful and complete wine.
