A blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc may seem rare in Australia but this blend is very common in the wines from Bordeaux's right bank.
Medium ruby colour. Plum, blackcurrant, tobacco and black olive. Medium bodied yet flavoursome with a mix of black fruit, touches of tapenade and bay leaf, fine tannins and a savoury finish. Really fragrant and interesting wine with no need to cellar.
