Macaw Creek, an organic producer from the Mt Lofty Ranges near the Clare Valley, have produced an excellent example of the classic Aussie red blend.
Dark garnet red. Developing aromas of blackberry, plum, charcuterie and charry oak. Palate shows masses of black and red fruit, oak and new leather, with excellent fruit concentration, secondary notes of cedar and tobacco, and charry oak to finish.
