Margan Limited Release Barbera 2011

Old world meets new in this single vineyard wine sourced just metres from the Margan Family Wines winery located in the Broke Fordwich sub-region of the Hunter Valley.
 
In the glass: Deep, dark red.
On the nose: Savoury dark berry fruits, bramble, fig, mocha, liquorice, light game and clove.
On the palate: Deep and dark with a flavour-packed core of fleshy red and black fruits, lovely mouthfeel and fine, velvety tannin depth. Engagingly bright acidity adds structure, finishing with delicious length and moreish appeal.
