Savitar is a mythical dragon-like monster, and this wine is named so because of the impression Frank Mitolo and winemaker Ben Glaetzer had upon first tasting the fruit.
Deep, dark red. Sweet fruit and oak aromas with cracked pepper and dried herb notes. Youthful and fresh, with a flavoursome mix of spicy plum and mulberry fruit, plenty of sweet mocha oak, deep yet fine tannins, fresh acidity and a long finish.
