A cooler growing season in Margaret River resulted in Cabernet that ripened more slowly and developed very intense fruit flavours, balanced by lovely acidity.
Deep, dark red. Herbaceous lift over mulberry, blackberry compote, bay leaf and toasty oak. Powerful, with a massive dark fruit core matched with equally powerful oak and tannins, fresh acidity, briar and black olive notes, and a long, rich finish.
