We are long-term fans of Helen McCarthy’s wines with this being her first since moving to Mountadam from Thorn-Clarke.
In the glass: Dark red.
On the nose: Inky dark berries with touches of liquorice, dried herb, mint and cedar oak.
On the palate: Concentrated curranty fruit with obvious varietal crushed leaf, mint, eucalypt, fine tannins and vanillin oak.
