Mr. Riggs The Gaffer Shiraz 2012

Mr Riggs is Ben Riggs who spent 21 vintages at Wirra Wirra winery before venturing out on his own to produce “icon wines from icon regions.” With the combination of McLaren Vale and Shiraz he’s onto a sure-fire winner!
 
This Shiraz displays chocolatey dark fruit and spice on the nose. Layers of sweet plum, mulberry and dark chocolate feature on the palate with licorice, anise and black pepper power. Strong but well balanced mocha-like oak in support with concentrated, regional length.
