Named after Ben Riggs' mother, Valerie, who is the Matriarch of the Riggs family. A single site wine sourced from the Woodside vineyard in the northern Adelaide Hills.
Medium ruby. Forest floor, black tea, amaro, dark cherry and potpourri aromas. Light to medium-bodied, with a bright core of red and blue fruit, notes of white mushroom and earth, gentle tannins, and balanced savoury oak on the juicy finish.
