If you’ve ever dreamt of taking a French holiday, pour a glass of this Sauvignon Blanc and transport your tastebuds to France’s Loire Valley! While it’s from Victoria’s King Valley, it’s reminiscent of an Old World style Sancerre.
The King Valley’s morning fogs provided the inspiration for this wine’s name. As the winery describes: “The word Nebulous means ‘foggy’ in Latin, which conjures up images of a cold, foggy morning high in the King Valley, which offers the perfect climate for growing premium cool climate wines.” Pale to medium lemon in colour, it offers an elegant, yet generous nose showing bright, lifted tropical aromas. The palate is tight and minerally however still rich with developing tropical fruit characters, and a full, textural mouthfeel.
