The cool 2022 vintage in McLaren Vale was perfect for early-ripening Tempranillo. This wine is from a single vineyard in Sellicks Hill in the region's south.
Dense red purple. Vanillin oak, raspberry, plum and cedar aromas. Quite robust and tannic in varietal style, with a ripe core of dark fruit, spice and black olive, good astringency and structure, and notes of tar and liquorice to finish. Lovely.
