The Hilltops region, in central New South Wales, is quickly gaining a reputation for excelling at grape varieties of Italian heritage, like this lovely Sangiovese.
Mid to deep crimson. Subtle earthy florals, rose petal, dried herbs, redcurrant and liquorice. Plush entry with textural tannin grip, layers of wild herbs and red berries, attractive floral notes, and a long, textural finish. Very varietal.
