In the winery: After fermentation, it was matured in barrel for 18 months.
In the glass: Deep red purple.
On the nose: Blackcurrant, mulberry, mint and vanillin oak.
On the palate: A medium weight, elegant style of Cabernet featuring good depth of dark fruit flavours and leafy notes, subtle vanillin oak and firm tannins. Very regional and varietal, it will benefit from a few years of careful cellaring.
