Aglianico hails from the south of Italy and is a drought-resistant, late-ripening variety that thrives in the Riverland. A great wine for lovers of rich and robust reds.
Deep garnet. Aromas of baked earth, potpourri, and red and blue fruit. Bright and fresh with layers of raspberry, cranberry and blood plum, crunchy acidity, fine-grained tannins, and notes of ironstone, violets and pink pepper on the long finish.
