Riorret Lusatia Park Chardonnay 2016

De Bortoli’s Riorret range consists only of single-vineyard Pinot Noirs and Chardonnay. The extraordinary Lusatia Park Vineyard is located at Woori Yallock in the upper reaches of the Yarra Valley.
 
In the winery: Hand picked fruit was whole bunch pressed then racked to barrel to complete fermentation.
In the glass: Bright, medium lemon.
On the nose: Citrus, white peach and a light nutty lift.
On the palate: Delicate and medium weight with a pristine core of melon and stonefruit, crisp acidity and well-judged oak. A delicious wine with all elements in perfect balance.
