Pinot Noir is definitely one of winemaker Tim Knappstein’s fortes and this Gold medal-winner from the Adelaide Hills is another great example of how Tim can truly bring out the best in this variety.
Light Pinot red in colour with a strawberry, mushroom and forest floor lift. Rich, layered and generous, it has a silken core of red berry fruit with plush, ripe tannins and a delicate, elegant structure. There are hints of Campari-like stalk notes, but they're well judged and add to the textural appeal.
