Rosenvale refer to Semillon as "Barossa's white princess", and this is a lovely barrel fermented example of the regional style from hand-pruned vines planted in 1940.
Pale gold. Lanolin, straw, ripe lemon and spun honey. Strongly varietal, showing lemon, Sunlight soap and dried grass with hints of honey and vanilla and subtle toasty development. Very flavoursome!
