Durif originated in the Rhône Valley of France, but has been grown in Rutherglen for over a century. It’s a variety that tends to make rather bold wines and this is no exception!
Inky, slippery, plum, mulberry and blackcurrant deliciousness in a full-bodied though not overly heavy frame. Shows lovely toasty oak in support, velvety tannins and refreshing acidity.
