A chance meeting with Jason Schwarz revealed the existence of small parcels of his Mataro from previous vintages still in barrel, and this terrific multi-vintage blend is the result.
Vibrant dark red. Fresh jubey fruit lift with crushed herb and savoury spice notes. Youthful, firm, dry and savoury with a mix of plum, blackcurrant and dark cherry, hints of leather, charcuterie and cola, supple tannins and a velvety finish.
