Made by Alex Russell, the Son of a Bull Riesling 2019 manages to be a mouth-watering wine in its youth but has a long life ahead. It’s vibrant and juicy with terrific flavour depth of grapefruit and green apple, pin point acidity and a long, savoury finish. A pretty wine, that’s lovely paired with kingfish ceviche with lemon and chives.
From Eden Valley, the Chaffey Bros Tripel Punkt Riesling 2018 is a single vineyard expression sourced from three different blocks. It was crafted slightly differently to the traditional Eden Valley style, adding subtle textural elements. The palate is fresh and vibrant with crisp layers of intense lime and green apple, mouth-watering acidity and a long, juicy finish.
