Seppeltsfield describes their Aged Flor as similar to the traditional Spanish Amontillado Sherry. Made from Palomino with subtle nutty flavours, it has great food-matching potential including silky textured soups.
Medium amber gold in colour, it has a fresh nose of rancio, grilled nuts, caramel and toffee. Rich, fresh and mouth-filling the palate has decadent yet elegant layers of caramel, marzipan, olives and baked apple. Mouth-watering with plenty of lifted spirit notes and lingering nutty complexity.
