A relative newcomer to Australia, but popular in it's home of Italy, 'Nero' makes a lovely lighter-weight style, not dissimilar to Pinot.
Bright red purple. Expressive dark berries, espresso and mocha. Delightfully medium bodied and savoury with blueberry, cranberry and cherry fruit throughout. Juicy and fresh with a hint of wet stone minerality and exotic spice complexity to finish.
