We managed to secure the last stocks of this Trophy and double Gold-medal winning Dandelion Vineyards Pride of the Fleurieu Cabernet Sauvignon 2014. The palate delivers an excellent balance with a powerful black fruit core cloaked with bright spice and herb and underlying cedary oak.
A Gold medal-winner from McLaren Vale, the Richard Hamilton Hut Block Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 is rich and plush yet with firm tannic grip with plum and liquorice over cedary oak. It’s quite firm at this stage, but will soften with some time in the cellar.
