As always every wine in this pack is a winner but here are some highlights to get you inspired.

Dandelion Vineyards are one of the most successful wineries in South Australia - find out why with this aromatic and sorbet-like Dandelion Vineyards Wonderland of the Eden Valley Riesling 2011. Pale lemon in the glass, this refreshing Riesling opens with lifted florals on the nose and a hint of fennel. It's alive with citrus, florals, fennel and anise flavours with a chalky mouthfeel, sorbet-like acidity and terrific drive.

Winemaker Karl Stockhausen is considered a Hunter Valley Legend and the stunning Briar Ridge Vineyard Karl Stockhausen Signature Release Semillon 2012 illustrates why. This pale lemon hued wine has lemon zest, slate and a hint of spice on the nose. It’s vibrant and zesty with a mouth-watering core of juicy lemon, fine minerally acidity and terrific weight, resulting in a fresh and appealing example of Hunter Valley Semillon!

Father and son team Dominique and Ben Portet run their family winery in the Yarra Valley. They’ve created this Dominique Portet Shiraz 2009. Very dark red in the glass with rich, ripe black fruits on the nose. Full bodied and well structured with good balance and a long finish. It has a solid core of rich, black fruits with quality cedary oak in support as well as hints of black pepper. Beautifully ripe tannins make for a long, impressive finish.

Bringing together one of the world’s oldest grape varieties and Australia’s oldest wine region, thebeautifully tempting The Little Wine Co Sangiovese 2011 is waiting for a casual afternoon spent with friends and a mezze plate. This bright ruby red Hunter Valley Sangiovese presents aromatic cherry berry, cedar and earth on the nose. Medium weight yet plush, the palate has a savoury core of spicy red fruits, soft tannins, juicy length and rustic notes of leather and Moroccan spice.
