Langhorne Creek’s Bremer River often floods in winter, inundating the vineyards and depositing deep alluvial sandy loam soils, which contribute to the richness and depth of the wines.
In the glass: Deep, dark red.
On the nose: Ripe dark fruit, damp earth, fresh leather and vanilla bean aromas.
On the palate: Sweet, rich and dense with deep, juicy plum, currant and mulberry fruit, supported by mocha oak and notes of coconut and toast. Flavoursome and generous with fine acid balance and savoury spice persistence. Still youthful with loads of further potential.
