The Suckfizzle brand was inspired by the Great Lord Suckfizzle, a character in the 15th Century book Gargantua and Pantagruel, by monk and medico Francois Rabelais.
Medium to deep garnet. Crushed herbs, leather, mulberry and cedar. Medium to full-bodied and drinking close to its peak with cranberry, mulberry and cassis, powdery white pepper-like tannins, well-integrated oak and a long, classy finish.
