Tahbilk Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre 2015

This is only the third vintage of this GSM blend to be made by the historic Tahbilk, but its lovely appeal shows why they’re one of Australia’s finest family-owned wineries.
 
In the glass: Medium density red.
On the nose: Black cherry, raspberry, clove, soy, black olive and vanilla aromas.
On the palate: Velvety smooth and packed with red fruit flavours with a seasoning of clove and kitchen spice, fine savoury tannin depth and savoury length. Although delicious now, it will be even better in the medium term.
