In the glass: Red purple.
On the nose: Perfumed and rich with spicy blackberry, mint, pepper and vanillin oak.
On the palate: Rich and robust with concentrated dark berry fruits and deep, layered tannins. Excellent length and richness with plenty of oak and it shows the high acidity and savoury tannins of the variety well, however, the firm tannins need food or time in the cellar.
