Small operation in the Lovedale sub district of the Hunter Valley producing some ripping wines. Predominantly reds, and quite bold styles, especially for the region.
Deep, dark red. Herb, bay leaf, briar, mulberry and plum on the nose. An earthy expression with a bright mix of plum and mulberry, touches of crushed leaf and cedar, soft acidity, fine tannins and a dry, earthy finish.
